2 PhD positions (? BAT IIa; 3 years) are available at the Department of Hydrology (University of Bayreuth, Germany) as part of a joint project aiming at the quantification and simulation of physical groundwater-surface water interactions, and their impact on geochemical and microbial processes in sediments.

Project I: “Quantification and simulation of the spatial and temporal variability of lake-groundwater exchange”

Project II: “Impacts of hydraulic boundary conditions on biogeochemical processes at the lake-groundwater interface”
