Global Programme in Advocacy for Sudanese Students, 2017

The Global Programme is open for Sudanese graduates sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sudan. The programme is a series of advocacy activities.

The aim of the programme is to create youth advocacy groups that advocate for the SDGs both in Khartoum and the rural areas.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the United Nations’ global development network. UNDP is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from member nations. The organisation operates in 177 countries, where it works with local governments to meet development challenges and develop local capacity.20

Course Level: The Global Goals Advocate Programme, is a series of comprehensive advocacy activities.

Study Subject: The programme is awarded in the field of advocacy.

Scholarship Award: The programme will cover the following:

  • Twenty applicants will work as SDGs advocates and agents of change for UNDP in Sudan.

Numbers of Scholarships: Twenty awards are available.

Scholarship can be taken in Sudan

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:

  • Sudanese national.
  • Youth aged (18-30).
  • University graduate “in the last five years”.
  • Highly interested in development issues in Sudan.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills.

Nationality: Sudanese applicants are eligible for the programme.
