Eligibility:
Advanced computational skills and the knowledge of common computational methods are required (Fortran or C++ programming languages), rudimentary knowledge of solid-state or semiconductor physics is desirable (required for the RA position). Background in biology is not required, but strong interest in this area is essential.

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for two graduate student positions (one Teaching and one Research Assistantship) in the Department of Physics, Clarkson University. We are currently looking for candidates to perform research in the areas of computational nanotechnology, plolymer dynamics and biophysics. The starting date is in the beginning of January 2012 for the TA position and can be immediate for the RA position. The current TA or RA stipend is approximately $22,000 per year.
