Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation is funding single parents scholarships for pursuing a vocational degree/certificate or an associate’s degree or a first bachelor’s degree or a professional/master’s/doctoral degree. Education Support Awards are disbursed in two separate installments over the academic year.

Capture the Dream Scholarships for Single Parent
Capture the Dream is offering scholarships for single parents and minority students of USA. Scholarships for single parents amount $1000 per recipient. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, leadership history, community service record, professional recommendations and academic performance.

Soroptimist Women’s Scholarships for Single Parent
The Women’s Opportunity Awards program assists women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families. The Women’s Opportunity Awards program involves three levels of cash awards. Each year, more than $1.5 million in education grants are awarded to more than 1,000 women. Applications for the 2017 awards will be accepted between July 1, 2017 and November 15, 2017.

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship
Arkansas organization is funding scholarship for single mothers who must be a resident of Lonoke County, Arkansas. Applicants who are single head of household (single, legally separated, divorced, widowed) with primary physical custody of a child under the age of eighteen (18) can apply for the scholarship. The deadline for applications is July 15 for fall and December 31 for Spring season.

EFWA Scholarships for Single Parent
The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting awards scholarships to women who are pursuing Accounting degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. Scholarships amount of $1,000 for women who wish to earn a Bachelors degree. The deadline for applications is April 30, each year.

Kalpan University Single Parent Scholarship
Kaplan University is funding the Kaplan University Single-Parent Scholarship for new students enrolling graduate and undergraduate degree program. An undergraduate student must take a minimum of 2 courses per term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5; graduate students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0. The application deadline is August 31.
