Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Applications are open for only Bangladesh, Kenya, and Indonesia students.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any one-year Masters programme (excluding eLearning) offered by Ulster University.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
  • Hold a valid passport from Bangladesh, Kenya, or Indonesia.
  • Hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught programme at Ulster University in Northern Ireland, commencing in September 2024.
  • Meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in the offer letter.
  • Students applying to part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at branch campuses (London or Birmingham), are not eligible.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Once you have received an offer of study from Ulster, you can apply for the GREAT scholarship online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Your passport personal details page
  • A personal statement (more than 250 words)
  • Previous qualifications, including final certificates and transcripts, translated in to English (if not in English)
  • English language qualifications if required
  • Your CV if required
  • Any previous UK visas, visa refusals and Home Office correspondence (international students only)
  • Admission Requirements: Have an offer to study a postgraduate degree at Ulster University.
  • Language Requirement: Students must be proficient in written and spoken English language.

Benefits

The scholarship provides £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year Masters Programmes (excluding eLearning).
