Hamburg Achievement Grants for International Students, Germany

DitzeStiftung, announces the annual availability of Achievement Grants („Leistungsstipendien“) aimed at supporting non-German students pursuing their education. These grants, typically amounting to 450 euros monthly, are granted for up to one year to exceptional individuals.

  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must have completed the 4th semester for Bachelor students and must be Master students. Additionally, they must meet specific criteria outlined by the selection committee.

How to Apply

To apply for the Achievement Grants for International Students, eligible candidates must follow a two-step application process. First, complete the online application form. Upon completion, applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions to upload the following documents as one PDF into the cloud:

  1. A short CV/resume.
  2. A letter of recommendation by an HFBK professor.

Please note that each HFBK professor can propose only one student for the Achievement Grants.

In the second part of the application process, candidates will present a selection of their work to a committee. The presentation is scheduled for 25 January 2024 at HFBK. Applicants are responsible for organizing a room, preparing an appealing selection of their work, and optionally indicating a preferred presentation time in the application form.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly grant of 450 euros for up to one year, providing financial support for their academic pursuits. Additionally, the achievement grants recognize and reward outstanding students in their respective fields.
