The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University awards fellowships each academic year. Radcliffe Institute fellowships are designed to support scholars, scientists, artists and writers of exceptional promise and demonstrated accomplishment, who wish to pursue work in academic and professional fields and in the creative arts. Applicants must have received their doctorate or appropriate terminal degree by December 2008 in the area of the proposed project.

The deadline for individual applications in the creative arts, humanities, and social sciences is October 1, 2009. For applications in the natural sciences and mathematics, the deadline is November 15, 2009. Please note that we no longer provide hard copy applications.
