Applications are invited for a number of IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarships to study in the UK for the academic year 2019-2020. Diamond Jubilee The studentships are open to UK residents to pursue an IET accredited degree course in autumn 2018.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology aims and aspirations, along with the principles and means by which we wish to achieve them. Its mission is to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society.

Description:

  • Application Deadline: 12 September 2019
  • Course Level: The studentships are available for Bachelors and four years MEng programme.
  • Study Subject: The studentships are awarded to pursue an IET accredited degree course in the autumn of 2019.
  • Award: Three winners will each receive a Charles Belling Diamond Jubilee Scholarship worth £3,000 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).
    Ten winners will each receive an IET Great Exhibition Scholarship by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 worth £1,500 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).
    Approximately 25 winners will each received an IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship worth £1,000 per annum (up to a maximum of four years).

  • The award can be taken in the UK

Eligibility::

  • Eligible Countries: Diamond Jubilee The studentships are for UK residents only.
  • Entrance Requirements: The bursaries are for individuals who;
    • Either achieve;
        • ABB or above at A Level
        • ABB or above at Advanced Highers
        • AAAAB or above at Highers
        • International Baccalaureate Diploma at 36 points or above
    • Diamond Jubilee The studentships are for UK residents only.
    • Must be about to commence studying in Autumn 2019, on an undergraduate degree programme in the UK which has been accredited by the IET. Before making your application, check the list of CEng and IEng accredited programmes to make sure that your degree course in the UK is accredited by the IET. If your degree course is not accredited by the IET, you will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship.
