Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in the field of Molecular Pharmacology, focusing on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) research.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  1. Hold a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related area.
  2. Have affinity with advanced techniques in cell biology and organoid technology.
  3. Possess previous experience in in vitro cell culture, molecular and cell biology, and cellular imaging (preferred).
  4. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
  5. Exhibit enthusiasm for pharmaceutical research in an interdisciplinary setting.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive the following benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities:

  • Starting salary of € 2,770 gross per month in the first year, increasing to a maximum of € 3,539 gross per month in the fourth and final year.
  • 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end-of-the-year bonus.
  • The position is for a period of 4 years, with the possibility of extension based on performance evaluation.
