Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Hold a degree in Political Science, International Relations, or a closely related field
  • Possess knowledge of Europe-China relations
  • Have solid training in qualitative methodology and basic quantitative methods
  • Willingness and ability to conduct fieldwork abroad for several weeks
  • Proficiency in academic English (written and spoken)

Additional qualifications considered a plus:

  • Knowledge of Chinese and/or European and/or US politics and foreign policy
  • Competence and/or willingness to work with (social) network methodologies
  • Experience in conducting and analyzing elite interviews
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (written and/or spoken).
