Eligibility

Eligible Countries: Open for all Countries
Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by Aalborg University
Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or similar from an internationally recognized university.
  • Master’s thesis covering areas such as microbial genomics, metagenomes, genome annotation, and bioinformatics.
  • Practical experience analyzing large sets of microbial genomes and working with various omic methods.
  • Practical experience with programming in R.
  • Good collaboration skills, team spirit, ability to work independently, and an excellent level of both spoken and written English.
