The University of British Columbia, Okanagan is accepting applications for the Postdoctoral Position in (Textile/Apparel) Comfort-Enhancing Technologies at School of Engineering.

The UBC Eminence cluster for comforts enhancing technologies at the Okanagan campus invites applications at UBC Okanagan campus in Canada.

This project aims to utilize a new state-of-the-art sweating cylinder torso in industry and develop a comfort assessment protocol that incorporates large datasets of comfort-related variables, to eventually better model and predict human comfort.

Comfort-related variables are as thermal resistance, evaporative resistance, maximal oxygen intake, skin temperature, ambient temperature, and textile properties.

• Excellent communication, technical writing, student supervision and project coordination skills
• Priority will be given to applicants currently eligible to work in Canada
