The University of Adelaide is pleased to offer the Adelaide Graduate Research Scholarships for the 2020-21 academic session. Scholarships will be awarded to undertake postgraduate research program in any discipline.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for consideration an applicant must:

    • be completing/have completed their qualifying program of study at The University of Adelaide within the previous 4 semesters prior to the intake applied for
    • be an international student at the time of application and enrolment;
    • enrol as a commencing student in a full-time postgraduate research program at the University of Adelaide in the approved semester; and
    • not be currently enrolled in the Higher Degree by Research program at the University of Adelaide for which the student is applying for the scholarship.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: To apply to submit a formal application for Admission and a Scholarship via the online application system. 
  • Entrance Requirement: International applicants from any country who have a First Class Honours result or equivalent, to support their study towards a Higher Degree by Research in areas of university research strength.
  • English Language Requirements: The university’s preferred accredited English language tests are: IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson Test of English – Academic and CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced).

Benefits

  • The scholarship duration will be for up to two years for a Masters degree by Research and three years for a Doctoral research degree.
  • For the duration of the scholarship, the recipient will receive a 100% Tuition Fee Waiver and a stipend of AUD$28,092 (2020 rate, indexed annually) per annum.
