About

As a professional in the field of agriculture, I am always looking for new ways to improve our food supply chain. With unpredictable weather and crop production seasonality, it is more important than ever to find innovative solutions to these challenges. One such solution is indoor farming and protected cropping. While there is still much to be explored and learned about these methods, they offer a high-technology way to tackle some of the challenges faced by our agriculture system.

One area of research that I am particularly interested in is the impact of indoor environmental factors on carbon allocation in fruit crops. By understanding how these factors affect carbon allocation, we can begin to optimize the production of flowers and crops are grown indoors. This could have a major impact on our ability to meet the demands of a growing population.

Additionally, I am interested in exploring different growing methods in protected cropping. By doing so, we can optimize crop yield and make this method more economically viable. Ultimately, this could help us meet the food needs of a growing population while minimizing the impact on our environment.
