  • Hold an honours degree (first class), first class equivalent, or a master’s degree with a substantial research component in social science or ecology.
  • Have an unconditional offer of admission in a full-time PhD program at the Faculty of Science.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in conducting research in the field of rewilding under the supervision of Associate Professor Thomas Newsome.
  • Applicants without an unconditional offer of admission may apply and be selected, but no scholarship offer will be extended until the applicant secures unconditional admission.
