Eligibility:-Current college juniors and seniors (college students must have at least incoming junior or third year status at your college or university to be eligible); recent graduates; graduate students; beginning museum professionals; and international students.
-Candidates from diverse backgrounds
-Must be currently matriculating within a degree program and in good academic standing; available for employment within 12 months of the internship.
-Intern must be able to provide his/her own housing and transportation to and from work
-Current student at a MEAC or SWAC institution. Graduate student preferred.
-Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is important.You must be currently matriculating within a degree program and in good academic standing; available for employment within 12 months of the internship.

Internship Description: MEAC\SWAC Challenge Intern will work with the Executive Director to develop and manage the MEAC/SWAC Challenge and ancillary events. Implements event management and operation models, event marketing and sales strategies, and coordinates on-site and remote event operations. This internship will be based in Charlotte, NC. The intern will travel the week of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge to St. Petersbrug, FL to work the event.
