ITU Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Applied Research Center (ITU AI) and DeepMind are delighted to offer their Deep Mind Scholarship in Turkey for the academic session 2020/2021.  The scholarship programme is available for Turkish students.

The educational award supports excellent female graduate students at ITU specializing in artificial intelligence.

• Acceptable Course or Subjects:Sc. or Ph.D. program in ITU Computer Engineering.
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must reside in Turkey.
• Applicants must identify as female.
• The scholarship is exclusive to students who are admitted to a M.Sc. or Ph.D. program in ITU Computer Engineering for the fall 2020-2021 term1. The applicants must apply to the aforementioned programs while applying for the scholarship.
• Should be committed to doing original research in the field of artificial intelligence.

How to Apply

• How to Apply: Applicants should send their application documents to info-ai-at-itu.edu.tr before the deadline.
• Supporting Documents: Must submit CV and academic transcript of the applicant, a statement of purpose that details the candidate’s previous research experience in AI, along with the future research objectives for their graduate studies and up to three reference letters.
• Admission Requirements: Students must have a previous year degree.
• Language Requirement: If English is not your first language then you must submit a copy of a recent English language test certificate or provide details of when you are going to take the test.

• Stipend: Scholarship offers a monthly stipend of 1000 USD.
• Equipment: Scholarship offers a one-off equipment grant of 1500 USD.
• Travel: Scholarship offers an annual academic travel grant of 2250 USD.
