The award will be presented to an applicant who is admitted or enrolled in a master’s or doctoral study programme at the University of British Columbia to conduct research on topics that align with the cause and operations of the Canadian Celiac Association. Foreign and Canadian students can both participate on the condition that the research project is based in Canada. The award is worth a whopping $25,000 annually.

• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
• The applicants must be working on a research project in a scientific, applied science, and/or medical nature relevant to celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and/or non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or the socio-economic implications of delayed diagnosis and/or living with these conditions.
