Jemolo Fellowship for Researchers at Nuffield College, University of Oxford in UK

Jemolo Fellowship is awarded for the students to pursue research at the Nuffield College. Fellowship is open for both Italian researchers and non-Italian scholars carrying out work on Italy to spend a period at the College to pursue  research, further study or advanced training. The fields covered by the fellowship are Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Modern History and Public Law. The Fellowship covers travel expenses, the right to a study/bedroom, with en suite facilities, and common table rights (meals) in College. The closing date for applications is 1 April 2015.

Jemolo Fellowship
Jemolo Fellowship

A Jemolo Fellowship has been created at Nuffield College Oxford as the result of an endowment from the Banca d’Italia, Banca Intesa spa, Banca di Roma, Sanpaolo IMI spa, and the Assicurazioni Generali, with the aim of furthering intellectual links between Italy and the United Kingdom. The purpose of the Fellowship is to enable both Italian researchers and non-Italian scholars carrying out work on Italy to spend a period at the College to pursue research, further study or advanced training. The Jemolo Fellow would be expected to play an active role in some of the activities of the College.

Duration of award(s): The Fellow would be expected to take up residence in College for a period of at least one month to a maximum of three months (although applications for longer visits will be considered).

What does it cover? The Fellowship covers travel expenses, the right to a study/bedroom, with en suite facilities, and common table rights (meals) in College. The Fellow is allocated a computer, printer and software suitable for their research.
