- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Candidates can pursue doctoral studies in any subject offered by Maynooth University
- Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a first-class or upper second-class honours bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in the relevant discipline or a cognate discipline approved by the proposed supervisor.
- For applicants without undergraduate examination results at the time of application, provisional offers may be made pending the achievement of specified degree results.
- Possess a first-class or upper second-class master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a cognate discipline approved by the proposed supervisor, if not meeting the undergraduate degree criteria.
- Fulfill English language proficiency requirements for international students.
