KFC Scholarships 2014 – KFC Colonel Scholarships

Kentucky Fried Chicken Foundation (KFC) offers KFC Scholarships for pursuing post-secondary education. The students of USA can apply for the scholarships. These $2,000 grants help Team Member recipients attend accredited four-year and two-year educational institutions, as well as trade/vocational schools. Winners are selected via a competitive application process and may reapply each year. Applications will be accepted from March 15, 2014.

Eligibility: To qualify, graduating high school seniors must:
– Earn a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.75
-Enroll in a public college or university within their state of legal residence
– Plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree
-Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
-Demonstrate financial need

Scholarship Description: Since 1998, the non-profit Kentucky Fried Chicken Foundation, a public charity, has helped one of the world’s most recognizable brands give back, thanks to the widespread and ongoing support of KFC Franchisees and the KFC Corporation. Today, the KFC Foundation is primarily focused on helping provide educational opportunities via scholarships and grants for postsecondary education. Since 2006, the Foundation has awarded nearly $11.5 million to deserving students.
