SOAS Master’s Linguistics Scholarships, 2020
Eleven SOAS master’s scholarships are available in the Faculty of Languages and Cultures at SOAS. Each scholarship is valued at £19,229 in total. Fees will be deducted from this amount and the remainder will be used toward maintenance. Applicants must possess or expect to be awarded a First Class Honours Degree or equivalent. Applications will close on 20 February 2020.

Ghent University Linguistics Scholarships, 2020

Applications for a fully-funded PhD scholarship are invited to study at Ghent University. The PhD scholarship is fully funded for a period of up to 4 years. Salary is ±1860 euros per month (depending on experience). Additional funding for travel, material and equipment is also available. Candidates are required to possess an excellent oral and written command of Spanish. Applications will close on January 6, 2020

Geoffrey Leech Scholarship, 2020
The Geoffrey Leech Scholarship is only open to UK/EU applicants. The value of the award will be equivalent to the UK/EU tuition fees. The scholarships are for study on any of the MA programmes on any of our MA programmes, both campus-based and by distance. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis. The deadline for applications is February 3, 2020

Linguistics Honours Scholarship, 2020
School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington is offering a Linguistics scholarship to undertake the degree of BA(Hons). Selection will be based on academic merit. The minimum level of academic achievement expected of successful applicants is a grade average of at least A- in 40 points at 300 level in the subject to be pursued at Honours. The scholarship covers the tuition fees up to a maximum of $5,000 for one year. The application deadline is  November 15.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships, 2020
Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is a partial scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The amount is varied up to AUD$10,000 and it will be awarded towards the commencement fee or reimbursed if fees already paid. Students must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 for postgraduate applications and minimum requirement of an ATAR equivalent of 92 out of 100 for undergraduate applications.

Philological Society Masters bursary, 2017
The Philological Society offers a limited number of bursaries, for students embarking on a postgraduate Masters programme in the areas of linguistics or philology. Each bursary is valued at £4000 p.a., which may be used for either fees or maintenance. This bursary may be used to supplement another award which covers only fees. The application deadline is 30th April.
