Macquarie University offers country scholarships for students which can help pay their tuition fees and also support them throughout their studies. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate programs commencing in either 2016 or 2017.

Recognized internationally, Macquarie University is consistently ranked in the top two percent of universities in the world and within the top 10 in Australia.

All international students at Macquarie are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English. Macquarie University requires the following as proof of meeting standard English language requirements (ie equal to IELTS 6.5)

Scholarship Award:
Africa Scholarships: University provides AU$5000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$2500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
India Scholarships: University provides AU$3000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$1500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Japan Scholarships: University provides AU$5000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$2500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Latin America Scholarships: University provides AU$5000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$2500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Nepal Scholarships: University provides AU$3000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$1500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Pakistan Scholarships: University provides AU$3000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$1500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Sri Lanka Scholarships: University provides AU$3000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$1500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Thailand Scholarships: University provides AU$3000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$1500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).
Vietnam Scholarships: University provides AU$5000 annually towards your tuition fees for the length of the course (AU$2500 is credited against your tuition fees each semester).

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
-have applied for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework through a registered Macquarie University agent or through our online application system.
-have met the University’s academic and English requirements for the course offered at their North Ryde campus.
-have enrolled and be ready to begin your course in 2016 or 2017 (commencement may not be deferred).
-Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer. Commencement may not be deferred.

Nationality: Citizens of Africa, India, Japan, Latin America, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam can apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their previous degree.

Test Requirement: No
