School Education Department, Government of Maharashtra offers scholarships for students who have appeared for any pre metric course. Minority students, who are residents of Maharashtra, are eligible for the scholarship. Student or school representative (school clerk) has to register first and get the credentials (User Name / password). Students who already applied for scholarship (for year 2011-12 and year below than that) can go for renewal application. Minority students, who are residents of Maharashtra, have appeared for any pre metric course are eligible. Students should have scored more than 50% and whose family income is less than equal to Rs. 1 lakh can apply. Students should not apply to any other Scholarship.

On acceptation of application student will obtain approved amount in his bank account directly. Student must have his/her bank account with nationalize bank. Applicants should submit their account number at the time of online filling application form. If the student doesn’t find the school in the system he or she should contact regional office with the school and course details. Regional office will get the necessary data entry done and student can then fill the form on-line. Refer to the report section and put in DISE code or refer user manual. Modifications can only be made in application before acknowledging by regional officer.

Students can also download the blank application form from the website and fill the application form manually and submit to the school. Then school has to fill the form into the system. Without this student will not be considered for the scholarship. If the student has received scholarship last year he/she has to fill the form as ‘Renewal’. For the submission of documents, there is no need for scanning or uploading. Students have to tick in front of document which will be submitted with hardcopy after student name is approved for getting scholarship.

For the selection percentage and grade will not be applicable for 1^st standard. Percentage will be applicable for 9th standard only; grades will be applicable for 2^nd to 8^th standard.Candidates can make apply online. After registration, student will fill on-line form, take the print-out and submit to school.
