Malmö University Internship in Sweden or Abroad, 2015-2016

Applications are invited for Internship in Sweden or abroad within the Department of Global Political Studies of Malmö University. Interns need to have 60 approved credits in the major subject within your programme to do an internship as part of your programme are eligible. Internships must be unpaid and must be between 18-20 weeks on a full-time basis. Interns need to find and apply for places of internship independently. Once applicants have an offer of a place it needs to be approved by the internship coordinator.

Field of Internship: Department of Global Political Studies, students at the following programmes have the opportunity to conduct an internship during one semester: Peace and Conflict Studies (Bachelor), International Relations (Bachelor), European Studies (Bachelor), Human Rights (Bachelor), International Migration and Ethnic Relations (Bachelor and two-year Master).

Eligibility: – An internship is carried out during the elective semester of your study programme at GPS/MAH. The entry requirement for the internship course is 60 approved credits with a certain progression in your major subject.
-Your elective semester can be the 3rd, 4th or 5th semester of your programme. Please find out by checking the applicable syllabus for your particular programme (N.B.! Check the applicable version at the time when you were accepted to the programme). Make sure you meet the entry requirements before you apply for an internship.

Internship Open for International Students: Swedish Students are eligible. Programme student at the Department of Global Political Studies can apply.

Internship Description: At the Department of Global Political Studies, students at the following programmes have the opportunity to conduct an internship during one semester: Peace and Conflict Studies (Bachelor), International Relations (Bachelor), European Studies (Bachelor), Human Rights (Bachelor), International Migration and Ethnic Relations (Bachelor and two-year Master). You need to be motivated, responsible and committed in order to conduct an internship. Note that it takes time and effort to find a place of internship. We do not book individual appointments with students interested in doing internships, instead we recommend that you attend the information session that we offer in the beginning of each semester. You need to have 60 approved credits in the major subject within your programme to do an internship as part of your programme.
