Multimedia University is offering MMU Sports Excellence Scholarships for local and international students. Programs are available for all foundation, degree, diploma and postgraduate programmes.
MMU Sports Excellence grant provides an opportunity for talented pupils to develop their performance in Sports, becoming an MMU champion for sport, performing in the Sukan IPT and in any major competitions organize by KPT; whilst gaining a recognized degree qualification from MMU.

- Awards are open to local and international applicants.

State Level (Athlete who represents the state in sport at the state level)
- Pass in SPM/A-Levels or equivalent with at least 5 credits for a degree programme and 4 credits for diploma programme or pass in STPM/O-Levels or equivalent with at least 3 principals/CGPA 2.0 for a degree programme
- The learners must represent state or national, provided verification from Sports Association, in the games/category as specified

How to Apply
- How to Apply: Applicants should download the application form, complete fully and return to the MMU Sports Unit by post.
- Supporting Documents: To apply, pupils must represent MMU and uphold the university name in his/her respective championship, the holder also required to take part in promotional activity and conduct workshop hosted by MMU, if necessary, especially in attracting the future batch of candidates who will enroll the same programme.
- Admission Requirements: To apply for the program applicants needs to maintain a minimum of CGPA 2.0 throughout his/her studies.
- Language Requirement: Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in English by means of an internationally recognized test, e. g. TOEFL, IELTS or the equivalent.
Benefit:
The grant will be awarded a 50% waiver of tuition fees, 50% waiver of hostel fees and Flexible academic regulation i.e: academic attendance (lecture/lab/tutorial) for their candidates.
