( votes)The University of Exeter is offering seven awards of just under £5,000 each for students beginning the MSc Energy Policy and Sustainability in October 2009.
Led by world-renowned experts, this MSc is the only Masters programme in the UK with a specific focus on energy policy. The programme is taught at the University’s Cornwall Campus near Falmouth, which is fast becoming a hub for students interested in studying issues relating to conservation and ecology, climate change, sustainability and renewable energy.
The awards are funded by the European Social Fund and are open to EU residents (including UK). The total award is £4908, consisting of £3858 towards registration costs and a maintenance bursary of £1050. The deadline for submissions is 12 noon on Friday 7 August 2009.

Please not that i am trying to be jealousy, my view is that why is it only Uk resident is entitled to energy conservation. I am base Nigeria Graduate that wish to further my academic more in energy especially in the the areas of production of Biodiesel from an oil seed plant and recycling of waste products, precise that was what i did in my project at the University. I am Demlie from Ethiopia, horn of africa. I have graguated from Bahir Dar university faculity of engineering which is one of the most famouse university in the country with B.Sc degree in textile engineering in 2005.I have done my final year project on energy conservation in chemical processing of textiles and my mini project as wel, in that i was so impresed in that project which was realy important to assist the textile sectors in my country because many of the textile sectors are not profitable due to lack of awarenes on cost of energy or poor energy management policy . So i want to fill this gap if you give me a chance to attend my MSc on Energy Policy and Sustainability, with Scholarships. To your reference i have worked in one of the textile factory in our country in a position of chemical processing foreman for about 6 months afterwards i am working in textile and apparel industry project institute as representative of laboratory and research and developement departement by providing training and concultancy to industries.Ihave been in India for 9 months to take a training on quality evalution of textiles and i was in Italy to take a training on occupational safety and health inspection system and i have certificates on these and other related courses.Taking my interest in to consideration i will be too much happy if u give me an opportunity. thanx for reading

When I completed my five years university studies at jimma university Medical science faculty, school of pharmacy.
I was employed under SRHB(Somali state regional health be roué) in one of the facilities under it(Jijiga Health Science College) to discharge my professional duties and responsibilities as a pharmacy department chair person and as an instructor. I served this community as an academic pharmacist for about 9months then upon the request of the nearby and newly established university (JJU) in the region I was transferred to play my professional role as an instructor of pharmacology, Biochemistry and other related courses for undergraduate Nurses and public health students(in east Africa its known as Health officers), After I joined the university almost for about a year it was my most challenging times in my new life b/se the university was newly established with less human resources. so all duties and responsibilities of the college were also left on my shoulder as the pharmacy department was established by my great effort while I was in the college, so that my day and night dream was all about how to strengthen the newly established pharmacy department at the college as well as the health faculty at JJu, just not only to be an instructor at both places.
In terms of research, so far except my undergraduate thesis, as there is no research oriented fertile scientific ground in the university and insignificant senior experts to consult with, I did not do any scientific research apart from the curricular activities. However my academic background as a pharmacology instructor, role to establish the pharmacy department and my significant role to strengthen the public health faculty and the scarcity of human resources in the region particularly in my profession make apparent to me that a masters program in in clinical pharmacy/pharm D and public health is the most appropriate for me in further facilitating my career development. For this reason I would like to apply for masters of clinical pharmacy or MPH program concentrating on nutrition.
I am interested in studying at your University of clinical pharmacy or public health in US/EUROPE, because, I believe it can give me an unparalleled education on clinical pharmacy or public health particularly on nutrition. Stabilization policies are required to prevent and manage such shocks. However, macroeconomic stability is a necessary, but not sufficient, condition for growth and poverty alleviation. Many developing countries suffer from endemic poverty, slow economic growth, unequal distribution of income and wealth, and poor environmental conditions caused by low and inefficient investment, shortage of foreign exchange, and the lack of effective government services.
I need to be the bench mark for my society by improving my knowledge and make interaction with different people to share the power to wisdom.
