The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University is inviting participants to join the education and research opportunities through a system of undergraduate and graduate placements as OIST Research Interns in Japan.

The aim of this fully-funded training is to select a few students and give them a chance to gain experience in a particular laboratory or to learn a specific technique.

On 1 November 2011, the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University was established. It is an interdisciplinary graduate school situated in Okinawa, Japan.

Eligibility

For being eligible, you must have to see the eligibility criteria-

Applicants can apply for a research apprenticeship program at graduate, the undergraduate program in universities, college, junior colleges and vocational schools in Japan or overseas. Aspirants should be at least within the top 25% of students in their program.

Currently, enrolled students must have approval from their home institution. If you are currently a student, confirm with your institution.

Is this Paid Position?

Yes, this is a fully-funded paid externship which will provide a living allowance of 2,400 JPY per day along with covering travel expenses and other expenses such as housing, visa, acquisition, insurance procedures, and etc.
