The University of East London is now accepting applications for the Open Civic Engagement Scholarship for the academic year 2019-20. The scholarships are open to all international students on undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.

  • Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing the undergraduate and postgraduate taught programme.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
  • Scholarship Award: The following scholarships are available under this scheme:
  • UG Civic Engagement Scholarship: up to £3,000 (first-year entry point only)
  • PG Civic Engagement Scholarship: up to £2,500 (first-year entry point only)
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  • Intend to start an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree in September or January 2019-20 academic session.
  • Fee assessed as an International student for 2019-20 academic session.
  • Assessed as a new student paying full-time international fees.
  • Studying at a UEL Campus in London

Nationality: The scholarships are open to all international students.

  • How to Apply: Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.
  • Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have filled out an application to study at UEL prior to applying for the scholarship (we will ask for UEL application reference number)
  • English Language Requirements: If English is not an applicant’s first language, they will need to provide evidence of their competence – for example, IELTS Academic English.
