The University of Oxford is one of the oldest universities in the world which established in 1096.It is a historic research university located in Oxford, England. The University is made up of a variety of institutions, including 38 constituent colleges and a full range of academic departments.

The university operates the world’s oldest university museum, as well as the largest university press in the world and provides the largest academic library system in Britain. Oxford University also provides the financial aids and scholarship for students.

History:

Now in the present world, Oxford is a collegiate research institution. There is no clear date of foundation, but teaching existed at Oxford in some form in 1096 and developed rapidly from 1167 when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris.

During the 20th and early 21st centuries, Oxford added to its humanistic core a major new research capacity in the natural and applied sciences, including medicine. The main focus of this university is on the learning capability of students.
