Students are invited to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship launched by Robert Gordon University and NDDC for the academic year 2023-2024.

The scholarship aims to support Nigerian students pursuing an on-campus full-time Postgraduate and PhD degree program at the university. Selected candidates will receive full tuition and some costs depending on individual circumstances.

• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:

MSC

• A minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) qualification in their first degree or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience
• Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
• Must have 5 O/level credits including the English Language

PHD

• Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
• A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) in their first degree and a good second-degree certificate;
• Must submit a research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry (of not more than 5 pages) to include: Topic, introduction, objective, methodology, and mode of data collection;
• Applicants must also include their master’s degree project.

• Supporting Documents: Applicants must submit all the following at the university:
• Recent passport photograph
• Local Government identification letter
• Postgraduate admission letter from a recognized Overseas University
• Relevant Degrees from recognized Universities
• Y.S.C Discharge /Exemption Certificate
• Admission Requirements: Students must complete the relevant entry requirements for admission to their preferred program.
• Language Requirement: Students must meet English language requirements to be able to study at the university.
