Scholarship Description: Opening of a PhD position in the area of Organic Electronics. The researcher will be able to join to a pioneer, dynamic and active group from the Department of NanoScience and Organic Materials from the Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC). This research group approaches some of the most exciting and challenging fields that a materials scientist can explore nowadays — the study of advanced organic functional materials and nanoscopic systems with useful electronic (superconductors, metallic conductors, semiconductors), magnetic (ferromagnets, superparamagnets, single molecule magnets, nanoporous magnets, etc), biological and/or optical properties. We are also involved in the development of materials processing techniques, molecular self-assembly and on the preparation of functional nano-structured materials.
