Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Only applicants from countries that are signatories to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons are eligible.

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for research in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Chemistry, Nuclear Physics, or Reactor Physics.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Chemistry, Nuclear Physics, Reactor Physics, or a related field (awarded within the last three years).

    • Have experience in solution chemistry, solid-state chemistry, or electrochemistry.

    • Demonstrate hands-on practical laboratory skills (applications without documented lab work will not be considered).

    • Be fluent in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is advantageous.

    • Must be able to work in a multicultural environment.

    • Must be eligible to work in a nuclear facility under Swedish law.
