The University of Vienna is providing the  Assistant (postdoc) position in the field of solid Earth geophysics at the Department of Meteorology and Geophysics in Austria.

The Section of Geophysics is looking to fill a position at the postdoc/assistant professor level in the field of seismology. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative researcher for the seismology team around Prof. G. Bokelmann. We require active participation in the research program in the field of solid Earth geophysics. Important topics are regional geodynamics, seismic risk, and nuclear verification. The candidate should contribute to advising Master and doctoral students. An advantage is an interest in performing seismological field experiments, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
