The University of Sydney is now accepting applications for the Postgraduate Research Scholarships in Veterinary Science Wildlife for the 2025-2026 academic session.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be domestic students with an unconditional offer or current enrollment in a full-time PhD program within the School of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney. Candidates must hold a First Class or Second Class Upper Honours degree, a Master’s degree with a substantial research component, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Be domestic students.
  • Have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled full-time in a PhD within the School of Veterinary Science, Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.
  • Undertake research in health and disease investigations in Australian sea lions, focusing on the impact of hookworm elimination on pup health and survival.
  • Hold either:
    • An Honours degree (First Class or Second Class Upper), or
    • A Master’s degree with a substantial research component, or an equivalent qualification.
