Northern Branch of the Business and Professional Women UK Ltd (BPW) is offering Pybus Bursary for postgraduate students at Newcastle University in the UK.

Students may be from any discipline but must be registered on a postgraduate degree course at Newcastle University. Awards of up to £2,000 are available. The application deadline is 10 February 2014.

Located in the UK, Newcastle University is a red brick university. It has one of the largest EU research portfolios in the UK. The university offers around 175 full-time undergraduate degree programmes in a wide range of subject areas.

Eligibility

Applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• The students of  UK can apply for the grants.
• The program is open for pursuing postgraduate degree level at Newcastle University.
• The applicant must be registered on a Postgraduate degree course at Newcastle University. Candidate must be a female postgraduate student and have a financial need for the award. The student must be from Tyne and Wear.

a covering letter giving information on why you need the award, your reasons for applying for your course and any other information you feel is relevant
a brief CV
copies of your last three months bank statements (for each bank account held) must be submitted
