Conditions: - Maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout the course
- Can take QUT-approved leave of absence after completing one semester
- Cannot hold sponsorship, scholarship, etc., from another organization
- Cannot hold any other scholarship except an Equity Scholarship
- Cannot hold the scholarship upon obtaining Australian permanent resident status or becoming an Australian and/or New Zealand citizen.

The QUT Real World International Scholarship is available from all faculties. It is for students who have demonstrated academic achievement in their past studies and continue to achieve high standards for the duration of their studies. In addition to financial support, recipients are encouraged to make the most of their QUT experience through extra development opportunities, which build leadership skills and professional networks.
