Sathyabama University is a private university, was founded in 1987. It is a pioneer institute in imparting knowledge in the areas of engineering, science, technology, and education. The University has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development has declared Category A University from October 2012. The programmes offered are in the streams of Engineering, Science, Architecture & Planning, Commerce & Accounting, Business & Management studies and Humanities & Social Sciences.
