Scholarship for ASEAN Students: The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) and the ASEAN Foundation (AF) are offering Joint Postgraduate Scholarships for ASEAN students in Science and Technology. These scholarships are available for the students who are interested in pursuing a master degree programme at the CGI.
The aim of CGI is to employ the most recent interactive teaching techniques used in world leading educational and research institutions to produce effective thinkers and leaders to better serve their countries’ needs towards sustainable development.

Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized test of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS).
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing masters degree program at CGI.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Biology.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship will cover tuition and other academic fees (credit fee, laboratory expenses, refresher course, enrollment fee, thesis fee, production of thesis documents), round trip airfare, visa fee, first settlement allowance, relocation allowance, accommodation, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, and others .

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines
- Scholarships are open to bonafide ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizen) who meet the following qualifications:

Under 30 years of age

Hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 in one of the following fields:

Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences

Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology

Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply.

Have one year experience in scientific laboratory research

Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognised tests of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)

Must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

Nationality: Students of ASEAN countries except Thailand (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesian, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam) can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement: All candidates must obtain an official test score higher than the minimum score for admission in any of the following standardized English examinations.

However, applicants from countries where English is the native language are exempted from this requirement. Additionally, applicants holding a previous degree from a university where the sole medium of instruction is English may submit a Certificate of University Medium of Instruction to fulfill this requirement.
