School of Economics MSc Scholarships at University of Kent in UK, 2015-2016

University of Kent is awarding Economics scholarships for MSc programmes for 2015/16. There are three types of scholarships available: Scholarships for Excellence worth 60% of the tuition fee  for outstanding students, either Home/EU or Overseas, CEAS Scholarship worth of £3,000 open to students applying for the MSc in Agri-Environmental Economics, Economics Alumni Scholarships available for undergraduates currently in Kent’s School of Economics. The award of these scholarships is conditional on students accepting a University of Kent School of Economics offer for a place to study. The application deadline is 29 June 2015.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded in Agri-Environmental Economics or any subject available within the School of Economics.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MSc programmes within the School of Economics.

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria is as follows:
Scholarships for Excellence: They are available for outstanding students, either Home/EU or Overseas.
CEAS Scholarship: Open to students applying for the MSc in Agri-Environmental Economics and Policy who have a good first degree.
Economics Alumni Scholarships: They are available for undergraduates currently in Kent’s School of Economics who will graduate in July and continue with an MSc starting in September 2015. To be eligible students must achieve a final overall mark of 65% or above.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Home/EU and overseas students can apply for these Economics scholarships.

All scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified students on a competitive basis. Students may be considered for more than one scholarship, but they will not be awarded more than one. The award of these scholarships is conditional on students accepting a University of Kent School of Economics offer for a place to study. There are three types of scholarships available:
Scholarships for Excellence: Up to seven scholarships worth 60% of the tuition fee for one year are available for outstanding students, either Home/EU or Overseas.
CEAS Scholarship: The Centre for European Agri-Environmental Studies (CEAS), is offering a one-year scholarship of £3,000 open to students applying for the MSc in Agri-Environmental Economics and Policy who have a good first degree.
Economics Alumni Scholarships: There are scholarships of £1,000 each, available for undergraduates currently in Kent’s School of Economics who will graduate in July and continue with an MSc starting in September 2015. To be eligible students must achieve a final overall mark of 65% or above.

Number of award(s): The School of Economics is offering a number of scholarships for outstanding students. Up to seven scholarships for Excellence are awarded.

Duration of award(s): The duration of scholarships is one year.

What does it cover?
Scholarships for Excellence- 60% of the tuition fee will be covered.
CEAS Scholarship- The value of scholarship is £3,000.
Economics Alumni Scholarships- These scholarships are of £1,000 each.

Selection Criteria: All scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified students on a competitive basis.

Notification: Decisions will be made shortly after the  deadline.
