The University of Edinburgh is inviting applications for the school of biological sciences taught postgraduate bursaries for the academic year 2020-21. Each bursary will have a value of £10,000 and is intended to assist with tuition fees.

The bursary is only tenable for one academic year. The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Eligibility

Eligible students must be nationals of countries outwith the EU and studying one of the following taught masters’ programmes: MSc Biochemistry, Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Drug Discovery and Translational Biology, Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology, Systems and Synthetic Biology and Quantitative Genetics & Genome Analysis (including Animal Breeding & Genetics, Evolutionary Genetics, Human Complex Trait Genetics).

How to Apply: Applicants must have been offered a place on an eligible MSc at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer, or be intending to do so. Applicants should send an email registering their interest in applying for the bursary to pgtbiol-at-ed.ac.uk ensuring you include both your UUN/application ID and the programme(s) you have applied for.
