Firstly, I am a holder of a master’s degree in inorganic chemistry and a doctoral degree in structural chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg.
Secondly, I am involved with the University of Johannesburg in two ways. I am a full-time post-doctoral fellow at their Kingsway Campus and on a part-time basis, lecturing at their Doornfontein Campus. The position at Kingsway campus involves carrying out research (synthesis, characterization and publishing) and helping out postgraduate students with their day-to-day research work. Besides this, I was also involved in teaching duties at the University of the Witwatersrand as a Tutor, Demonstrator and as a co-supervisor of honors’ students. During that time, I co-supervised three honors projects some of which have resulted in publications.
Having research and management as my major career interests I am certain that adding an MBA to my CV would go a long way in meeting my career objectives.
