- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
- New students who are transitioning from high school and who will be attending Langara.
- Secondary school graduating students who plan to attend our institution in September 2023 will be eligible to apply.
- Be entering Langara College as a full-time student in Fall Semester 2023.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must have online the following citizenship status: Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Protected Person, or International Student
How to Apply
- How to Apply: Applicants must submit an online application form to apply for Langara College High School Entrance Bursary.
- Supporting Documents: Applicants are required to upload their receipts and any additional documentation on the online application form. Students wanting to apply for admission must submit:
- A completed Application for Admission form;
- A completed Appeal for Conditional Admission or Concurrent Studies form;
- A letter of support from a school counselor, principal, or vice principal; and
- An official interim transcript showing completion of their Grade 11 year and current Grade 12 courses.

- Language Requirement: Applicants admitted to a Langara College program on the basis of an English language assessment other than the Langara English Test (LET) or an acceptable grade in English may be required to successfully complete ENGL 1107, 1110, or achieve a LET 3 prior to enrolling in ENGL 1100, 1123, 1129, or 1130.
Benefits
The funds that are available for distribution are limited, so individual awards are moderate. Scholarships are awarded for academic merit.
