Eligibility 

  • Eligible Countries: New Zealand and international citizens are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

  • Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Applicants must be enrolled or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te Koki New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
  • The scholarship can involve the student attending a short course; or attending and/or participating in a concert and/or masterclass in Europe, North America, or Australia.
  • The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
  • Selection criteria: The applicant must be enrolled or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te Koki New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, and remain in good academic standing.

  • Copies of any communication with the host person or organization overseas.
  • A supporting statement from the principal supervisor.
  • Admission Requirements: To be considered for the scholarship, the applicant needs to submit an application to study at the university.

Benefits

The university will provide all the following:

  • The successful applicant will receive one at $25,000 annually for a full Master’s scholarship plus fees, or two at $9,000 each annually toward fees for postgraduate study.
