The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow’s second-oldest university, with the university receiving its royal charter in 1964 as the UK’s first technological university.
The institution was awarded University of the Year 2012 and Entrepreneurial University of the year 2013 by Times Higher Education.
Course Level: The studentships are available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Study Subject: financial aid positions will be awarded in the following subjects:
Architecture, Electronic and electrical engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Forensic Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer and information sciences, Design manufacture and engineering management, Mechanical and aerospace engineering, Chemical and process engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics, Naval architecture, ocean and marine engineering, Physics, Pharmacy and Biomedical sciences.
Scholarship Award: These financial aid positions will be awarded £3000 per academic year.
Number of Scholarships: Up to twelve The studentships are available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the opportunity :
Applications are encouraged from Mathematics, Science, Technology and Engineering undergraduates. The grant is for ONE year, but students may re-apply for further funding.
Nationality: Applicants from Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, United Kingdom, England can apply for these endowments.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English Language Requirements: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English the candidate should have a very good command over English language.
How to Apply: 2018 has been designated the Year of the Engineer. UKNEST plans to mount a campaign aimed at 12 – 16-year-old students to promote the Naval sector as an exciting future career. Submit a brief (max 2 pages A4) to describe the content that you would use in this promotion, highlighting those factors that attract you, and recommend the medium (e.g. pamphlets, social media, website, targeted e-mails, lesson plans etc.) through which you would communicate this to the target audience.
