The University of the Sunshine Coast is proud to offer the Honours Scholarship program. This program is open to all postgraduate students enrolled in an honors course at the University. The scholarship amount is $5,000, and several yearly awards are available. Applications for the Honours Scholarship are accepted until 28 February 2023.

About

UniSC Vice-Chancellor’s Honours Scholarships encourage and support students commencing an Honours program with a long-term view to entering the research field. Scholarship payments will be made approximately three weeks after the Census Date of each Semester, once enrolment has been confirmed.

The scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate professional excellence and a commitment to their chosen field of study. Recipients of the UniSC Vice-Chancellor’s Honours Scholarships are expected to maintain exemplary academic standards and contribute to the enrichment of campus life.

Eligibility

  • Students commencing Honours study at UniSC
  • Enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student in any ‘end-on’ Honours program (e.g., not an embedded Honours or Professional Honours program)
  • Not already in receipt of a UniSC merit scholarship or a UniSCHonours or postgraduate Indigenous Scholarship for Honours year of study.

How to Apply

To be eligible for the UniSCHonours Scholarship, applicants must be commencing honors study at UniSC, have enrolment in an ‘end-on’ Honours program (e.g., not an embedded Honours or Professional Honours program), and not already in receipt of a UniSC merit scholarship or a UniSCHonours or Postgraduate Scholarship for their Honours year of study. To apply, submit a scholarship application form and a one-page personal statement detailing your academic achievements and future goals.
