The University of Copenhagen is offering fellowship to implement silicon-on-insulator Spin qubits commencing on 1 December or as soon as possible thereafter to study in Denmark. Danish applicants are eligible to apply for this fellowship.

Applicants whose native language is not English must document proficiency in English by having passed one of the recognized language tests.

Study Subject: Fellowship is awarded at the Center for Quantum Devices to implement silicon-on-insulator Spin qubits.

Award: The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff. Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State. For students with a Master Degree the starting salary is currently at a minimum DKK 305,291 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 42,171). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this fellowship:

The position is available for a 3-year period for applicants holding a relevant master’s degree, or for a 4-year period for applicants with a Bachelor degree and sufficient coursework for this position. At the time of commencement, applicants for the 4-year period must have approximately one year of study remaining before graduating from their MSc programme.

Nationality: Danish applicants are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
