Together with the Bestway Foundation and the University of Kent are delighted to offer 5 scholarships of £30,000 to students from Pakistan, applying to a master’s programme in Science, Technology and Mathematics.

The educational award aims to assist high-achieving students who want to apply for the postgraduate degree programme at the University of Kent.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Pakistan.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time, one year programme in one of the following disciplines by the deadline in order to be considered for the award:
    • Biosciences
    • Physical Sciences
    • Computing
    • Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Open to students from, and domiciled in, Pakistan
  • Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic performance
  • Shortlisted applicants will also be considered on the basis of financial needs.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Register yourself in a master’s degree program at the university and then complete the online application process for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: At the time of admission, you will be asked to submit copies of your academic transcripts, curriculum vitae, copy of the passport, and the language ability proof. Research proposals are usually between 2000-3000 words.
  • Admission Requirements: Students applying for a postgraduate degree must normally have a British first or second class honours degree in a relevant or appropriate subject, or the equivalent from an internationally recognized institution.
  • Language Requirement: The University requires all non-native speakers of English to reach a minimum standard of proficiency in written and spoken English before beginning a postgraduate degree. Certain subjects require a higher level.
