Course Level: The studentships are available for pursuing master and doctoral programme.

Study Subject: The studentships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Award: For Master’s: $18,000 for up to two years and Doctoral: $22,000 for up to three years.

The award can be taken in Canada

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Register for the first time in a thesis or dissertation based program at the U of S Entrance GPA of at least 85%
  • Show evidence of previous research productivity as demonstrated by authorship of refereed journal publications or conference presentations/publications

Nationality: International students are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have undergraduate degree.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirement: All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.

How to Apply: Nominations for International Dean’s opportunities are made by academic units after you’ve applied.

Application Deadline: The application deadlines are: Round 1: December 1, 2017 and Round 2: February 2018.
