University of Sydney Rowan Nicks Russell Drysdale Fellowship in Australia, 2014

The Rowan Nicks Russell Drysdale Fellowship is designed to undertake approved programs /activities or further education or a research project in the area of Australian Indigenous Health and Welfare. The fellow may conduct his/her work in any location in Australia as approved by Dean of Sydney Medical School. The fellowship includes up to $60,000 towards a salary, support or resources for a period of up to 12 months. The application deadline is Friday 15 August 2014.

 Scholarship Description: University of SydneyThe Rowan Nicks Russell Drysdale Fellowship designed to support individuals wanting to make a contribution in the area of Australian Indigenous Health and Welfare. The Fellowship particularly aims to support the development of workers and future leaders in Australian Indigenous Health and Welfare.

Number of award(s): Subject to availability of funds, more than one fellowship will be awarded concurrently.

 Duration of award(s): The Fellowship is awarded initially for a period of up to 12 months

 What does it cover? Up to $60,000 towards a salary, support or resources for a period of up to 12 months at a level commensurate with the Fellow’s experience, qualifications and project proposal or a stipend and/or payment of course-fees to undertake approved training, education or research.

 Selection Criteria: Preference will be given to projects and training which have support from and involvement in the Indigenous community.
